Teen Titan: Shadow

I'm a fan of Teen Titans, so this is my Teen Titan, Shadow. He has the same powers of Raven from the show: telekinesis, darkness controling, and a bit of empathy. The two versions of Shadow, the top one and the bottom one, are the clothing changes that go along with his personality. The top one is when he starts out, shy and doubtful, using the mask to hide his inner demon. Then the bottom one is his more relaxed and confident self when he has full control over his demon and soul-self.

[02092012] Okay i'm a Contributor of #teentitans group on DA and I found someone submitting an OC Submission with their character Crow...now I was surprised that someone took my character >_< but also found out that there WERE MORE O_O so i'm slowly getting over it cause I came up with my Crow during the first episode of Teen Titans XP but now I'm editing this character which is looon over due ^_^

Personality:
Crow has a very quiet personality, a man of few words he lets his behavior and facial expressions do the talking. Diligent and docile, his whole silent persona can come crumbling down when it’s time to bring justice to those that need it. Crow has a heart of gold, and cares deeply to his fellow teammates and friends, despite that his lack of showing affection. Though he’s a quiet person, Crow does talk and is usually blunt with his opinions and thoughts. Whenever he sees someone in danger or need he will jump in without thinking. He also constantly apologizes whenever something goes wrong, even if he didn’t do anything, he feels compelled to try and make everyone around him happy.

History:
Crow, like Raven, is the son of an earth-bound woman and a demon. His father is Trigon’s right hand man, so when his mother was pregnant, she was expecting twin boys. Once born, the first boy was named Shadow while the other was named Crow. However, some of the demon’s powers and essence made its way into Shadow. This created a decision for the court of Azarath to either kill the boy or seal his powers away. Choosing the latter, the sealing process suddenly went wrong and the demon power of Shadow started to go out of control. In panic, the Priests decided to not just seal away Shadow’s powers but by bringing in Crow, they sealed the soul of Shadow into his brothers.
Ever since then, the Priests of Azarath seal away the demonic powers of Shadow within the soul of Crow allowing him to live a semi-normal life. Nevertheless, the news of what the Priests did not lay undercover, the elders saw Crow as a nothing less than a demon of Trigon, making his childhood and time growing up hard. The only light in his life was befriending someone similar to him, Raven. Though she was treated better than he was, they still had a strong bond together.
When Raven, left to Earth to join the Teen Titans, a few years later, Crow followed suit and made a life San Francisco, California. Soon enough, he found Raven again as a Titan and asked to join. Crow quickly showed is usefulness becoming an honorary Titan. Nevertheless, before he made the trip to Earth, his mother forbid him to go, but seeing that stopping him was useless, she gave something to keep the Demon inside in check as the realm of Azarath will not keep it at bay on Earth. The power of the demon didn’t just grant Crow with certain abilities of Shadow, mainly the power to create ice, but the aura drains the life energy surrounding Crow with every second. Thus she gave him a mask that covers half his face. Enchanted with markings in the inside lining of the masked and decorated with more symbols on the front, the mask kept the demonic powers of Shadow under control and slowed the draining process.
Making another effort to reconstruct his relationship with Raven, he felt turned down as his feelings for her were being turned down by Garfield, Beast Boy, as he was getting much closer to Raven than he ever did. Nevertheless, Crow still feels compelled to protect Raven and make sure she feels secure and happy. On the day of the Prophecy, Crow supported Raven’s decision and made sure she wasn’t doing anything she didn’t wanted to, for once Trigon is released, Crow’s body and life energy will be used to give the demon king enough energy to enact his wrath. Once Raven defeated and sealed away Trigon, it was her that gave life back into Crow before her soul left the plane of reality. Ever since then he now still keeps up with the Teen Titan’s requests but still tries to find Raven’s soul.

- When he uses his shadow powers, his attacks usually take the form of a giant crow or a bird
- Another quality of his powers involve that of Blue Fire and Icicles, these abilities are that of his brother’s demonic powers
- He has two souls living inside him so Crow’s Soul Self takes the form of a Crow while his brother’s takes the form of a Wolf
